Therefore, in order to participate, in addition to registering, teams must complete Stage 0, which consists of generating at least 1,000 minutes to fight against neurodegenerative diseases through the sale of (at least) 100 Stropatada tickets.

1 Stropatada ticket = 10 minutes to fight neurodegenerative diseases

  • Getting, or becoming, AmiWOP

EQUIPMENT

Yes, as long as the change of participant is requested 5 days before the event is held

During the race, in case of injury or health problem of the team member with the chip in the middle of one of the stages, he/she may be relieved by another member of the same team, after notifying the race command center.

This will be the only caveat that will prevent the discharge as a member of the team.

In this eventuality the next reliever of the team has to wait for the chip and for the relay point to be reached by the reliever (from another team) who was behind the injured at the moment the organization is aware of the injury.

The organization’s motorcycles will take the chip to the relay point as soon as possible (always giving priority to safety tasks).

Likewise, a 45-minute penalty will be applied to the final time of the race. If the injured rider was to ride a subsequent consecutive stage, the team may replace him in those subsequent stages.

Yes. Each team and each participant will be able to know through this website the time with which they have finished the race. Both the individual times of each stage and the final time of the team will be known.

  • The final time of each team will be their time in the race minus the bonuses obtained (see article 4 of these regulations).
  • To collect the times in an efficient way, it is important that the relay chip is well placed in the place indicated by the organization. If it is inside a backpack, a pocket, folded, etc. the detector will not work properly, running the risk of not being read and losing the time record.
  • The Chip is also a security element of the race since it allows the geolocation of all the participants running at any moment, so it is important that their placement strictly follow the instructions that will be provided at the time of its collection.
  • On the other hand, the personal race bib must be well placed following the provided instructions, for the control of the relays by the judges at the control points, as well as for easy identification by the photographers at the different points of the route.

The penalty will be the sum of the highest time achieved by the rest of the teams in the stages not completely covered by the cut team plus 30 minutes. The time in the final classification of the cut teams will be base time + penalty + race time in stages 15 to 19. The base time will be the team’s race time from the start until 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 6th of 2024.
  • Due to all of the above, it is not recommended that the same person is the runner corresponding to relays 14 and 15.

In this eventuality, the next reliever on the team has to wait to have the chip and for the reliever (from another team) who was behind the injured person to arrive at the relief point at the time the organization becomes aware of the injury. The organization’s motorcycles will take the chip to the relay point as soon as they can (always giving priority to security tasks).
